Blooming Blossoms is a ROM hack created by usernamesarespiders, with 111 Stars. This hack was created as a sequel/expanded version of Blossoming Buds.
A linear stage-by-stage hack with eight worlds: four levels per world with a castle level at the end. Each with unique challenges, enemies, and platforms to traverse.
Gameplay[]
This hack is non-stop, meaning that collecting a Star does not initiate a warp. Collecting a 1UP (which has been retextured to appear as a crescent moon) will refill Mario's health completely. A mid-way checkpoint goal also appear in every course, which functions as a respawn point whenever Mario loses all of his HP or falls off a level.
Each level contains 2 Stars. One of which is reach the end of the level, and the other is to collect only at least 6 out of 8 Star Coins (custom red coins) required to spawn the associated Star.
In addition, Warp Pipes are color-coded to represent their functionality: basic green pipes indicate the main start of a level; orange pipes indicate a secret exit hidden in a level; red pipes indicate the entrance of a Warp Zone level; purple pipes indicate the continuity of a level if divided into parts/sub-areas; white pipes indicate the end of a level and rainbow pipes indicate the entrance of a Special World level.

- The unused Bowser battle areas from the prequel are present in this hack. However, loading the levels via Star Display intentionally crashes the game.
- A sign near the beginning of the hack cites Ztar Attack 2 - A Blast to the Past (by TheGael95), another linear stage-by-stage hack, as the main inspiration for this hack.
