Bob-omb Backyard is the first course in Plutonium Mario 64. It has 6 Stars.

The level contains areas covered by vines that can be removed via a ground pound

Stars

Act 1: Pillars Over The Pond

Head left-ish of spawn and parkour your way up the pillars set in the pond until you reach the Star at the highest point.

Act 2: Foothill Of The Backyard

Ascend the hill at the back of the level, using a block switch to access the next few levels up.

Act 3: Red Coins In The Ocean

The locations of the red coins are as follows:

1. Underneath the wooden pier in front of the pillars ascended during the 1st Act.
2. Under the leafy mesh with a coin box above it (groundpound the mesh to get the coin).
3. In the crack underwater just behind the Star's spawning point.
4. Further behind the 3rd coin, hidden in the red coral underwater.
5. In the shallows that veer off into a submerged path round the side of the level, hidden inside of a clam.
6. Near the 6th coin, at the bottom of the ocean above an underwater tornado.
7. Off the edge of the shallows, above the floating wooden platforms.
8. By the floating wooden platforms in an underwater crack.

The red coin Star will spawn in the shallow water behind the beach hut.

Act 4: Beneath The Coral Reef

Near where the red coin star spawns, there is a patch of coral in the shallows. This coral is not solid and can be swam through; swim through the underwater tunnel until you reach a large underwater room. There are 5 secrets to discover here marked by coins:

1. In the ceiling coral above the entrance.
2. In the coral stuck to the right wall.
3. In the middle of the floor.
4. In the coral on the floor at the back-left corner of the room.
5. In the ceiling coral at the back-right corner of the room.

The Star will spawn at the end of the tunnel where ot opens out into the underwater room.

Act 5: Lone Coastal Beachhome

Talk to the Bob-omb Buddy on the beach, then enter their beach hut in the shallows. Have a litttle rummage around in the stranger's home before stealing their precious Power Star from the top of a stack of crates.

Act 6: Secret Mesh In The Pond

Head back to the pond where Mario found the 1st Star at the top of the pillars. Swim over to the back of the pond and stand in the muddy shallows. Ground pound the mesh to lower it, then sneakily grab the Star by the tip of it that's peaking through the mesh.
