Christmasplex Mall is a demo hack made by rovertronic for his major hack, SM64: Beyond the Cursed Mirror. This demo includes a Christmas-themed version of course 5 from SM64: Beyond the Cursed Mirror, Virtuaplex.
Overview[]
There are some key differences between this demo and the finished hack (list not exhaustive):
- Finding a wallet does not give Mario a bonus 50 coins.
- Crablet VR Headsets are now wearing santa hats.
- A number of surfaces are now textured to appear icy or snowy, with some having their surface collision changed too.
- When Mario finds a new costume, it doesn't give the option to immediately equip it.
- Mario does not have any badge spaces. Instead, a badge space can be purchased from one of the merchants in the level.

Act 1: Snow-Covered Rooftops[]

Act 3: Gifts And Buttons[]
Head up the stairs and through the right tunnel, and grab the crowbar on the way. In the room up ahead, hit the switch next to the entrance to open up the gate blocking off the back of the room.
Run over to the back of the room and do NOT destroy the crates. If you do, the level will need resetting. Here at the back of the room is another switch. When pressed, it upons up the airlock ahead, with the catch being that it only stays open while pressed. Push one of the crates onto the switch and run into the airlock. Then, position Mario so that he can throw the crowbar from a distance to break the crate weighing down the switch. Once deactivated, the airlock doors will switch, allowing Mario to enter the vault and grab the Star.
Act 4: Christmas Colosseum Trials[]
Head up the stairs and through the rainbow tunnel in the centre. Through here, head to the warp pipe on the right. This will take Mario to a colosseum area- be aware that there are no coins to collect here, and no way to return to the main part of the level.
To obtain a Star, Mario must overcome ten waves of enemies, with each wave including more and tougher enemies.
Act 5: Digital Vortex Of Death[]
Head up the stairs and through the rainbow tunnel in the centre. Through here, step onto the platform marked with caution tape, and it will take Mario up to a catwalk on the left.
Through here, there is a rainbow chamber, and a switch. Upon hitting it, five golden rings will spawn in the chamber. Be aware that the rainbow surface is very slippery, so safe navigation will require the use of the checkered platforms orbiting around the vortex. The timer given is quite generous, so take your time to collect the rings without falling down the vortex. If you do, Mario will be spawned back on the switch with some HP lost. Once all five rings have been collected, the Star will appear over the switch.
Act 6: 100 Bytecoins[]
This is the 100 coin Star for the level.
