DDR: Mario Mix 64 is a hack made by SteamedWaffles for the Music Themed Level Competition, in which it placed 24th. It is a single-course hack that aims to make a traditional 3D platformer out of the Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix game.

C1: Truffle Tower[]

Act 1: Here We Go! -Across The River-[]

The water in the main area for this course and in its shell-based sub area is actually quicksand, to which Mario is deathly allergic. It is possible to bypass this mission by performing a triple-jump-dive to reach the pier, but the intended route is to step into the boat and warp to the shell course. Use the shell to surf across the quicksand water while avoiding obstacles, and find the Star at the end of the river next to the Wing Cap switch.

Act 2: Schmoove To The Castle[]

Cross the quicksand river (either with the Wing Cap or a triple-jump-dive) and head over to the mountain on the right side of the course. Travel up it until you reach the entrance, where this Star can be obtained.

Act 3: Underground Mozart[]

Head around to the backside of the left mountain and enter the hole at its base. Mario will be warped to a shroomy blue cavern with (non-functional) warp pipes, and must platform to the top of the cave to reach the Star on top of the biggest mushroom.

Act 4: Garden Boogie[]

Use the giant plant leaves to ascend up to the top of the left mountain. Up here, destroy all eight crates and collect the eight red coins to spawn the red coin Star in front of the house up here. This may be the best mission to collect the coin Star in, as the red coin area also has a number of Koopa's running around it.

Act 5: Destruction Dance In The Truffle Tower[]

Travel up to Truffle Tower castle and enter the dark doorway behind its Star. In here, Mario can battle King Whomp and steal his Star.

Act 6: Secrets In The Truffle Tower[]

Again, travel up to Truffle Tower castle and enter the dark doorway. Discover all five of the Secrets by jumping onto the window sills, then collect the Star from the upstairs section.

Coin Star[]

In total, there is at least 126 coins throughout course 1 and its sub areas, but only 80 coins are needed to spawn the coin Star. Note that entering a sub area is always a one-way journey, and that Mario cannot warp back to the main area afterwards.
