Daffodil Meadow is one of the courses featured in the demos for Warped Worlds, by Jefftastic. It appears to be inspired by Bob-omb's Battlefield from vanilla SM64.
This level is featured in more than one hack and has some differences between each version.

Daffodil Meadow is featured as the first course in the decomp version of Warped Worlds, with the standard 6 acts (referred to as 'Missions') and a 100 coin Star. While it is very different from its binary counterpart, there are still elements that bear a clear resemblance between them and the Bob-omb Battlefield from vanilla SM64. There is also a sub-area that seems to have been inspired by Cavern of the Metal Cap (vanilla SM64), though it doesn't have a Cap Switch in it.
A Koopa NPC (referred to as 'Little Koopa' in this article) can be found and interacted with frequently, as can Prince Bob-omb after being defeated. Unlike King Bob-omb from vanilla SM64, Prince Bob-omb does not explode upon losing to Mario. Instead, he simply lays on his back and chills out until the next Mission. In this state, he will no longer talk to the player and walking into him does not cause Mario to take any damage- instead, he will only harmlessly knock Mario back a little.
This course is accessed from the main area of the hub by entering the door to the left of the Thwomp painting, then entering the painting.
Mission 1: Brawl With The Deadly Prince[]

Travel to the top of the mountain and talk to the Bob-omb Prince:
Fueh fueh fueh... What brings you here, pipsqueak? Did that stupid turtle tell you to come up here? On MY mountain? Fueh fueh fueh... It's a mistake to try and challenge me, the prince of this mystical world. Not even that Koopa king wants to get in a brawl with ME! You're quite brave trying to challenge someone so strong... Oh well, let this be known as the day I crush yet another hopeless fool. Say your prayers.
The Prince attacks by rushing at the player very quickly, and will teeter on the edge of the mountain top after each rush (whether or not he hits Mario does not affect whether or not he teeters). While he is trying to regain his balance, the player can run up behind him and grab him from behind, then throw him on the ground.
Getting hit by the Prince will take away half of Mario's life. If thrown off the mountain top, the Prince will quickly jump back up before hitting the ground, and create 2 shockwaves for the player to dodge.
after taking one hit, the Prince will stomp 3 times around the stage, creating 2 shockwaves each time he lands and dropping 3 coins upon the third stomp. he will repeat this after taking a second hit, then be defeated by the third hit.
ARGH! Theres no way you beat me without CHEATING! I can't believe this... I'm starting to feel more like myself again... My fuse has cooled down... Urgh... I'll be fine, fueh fueh... You've really done a number to me... Here, please take this star as an act of forgiveness"
Mission 2: Little Koopa Quest[]
Go and speak to Little Koopa at the pond, in the same place as the previous Mission:
Are you the person the defused the Prince up there? Oh gee, thank you so much! He's been a real nuisance to me and my family... If you haven't noticed, I've been working on a cannon for a while now. I was studying up on that mountain until the angry Prince stomped me outta there. I ran as hard as I could! It felt like my legs were gonna fall off!! I lost one of my book stacks running down though, and I need it to finish the cannon. Could you please help me? You seem very fit for this job...
In this Act, there will be a unique item present to the right of Mario's starting point. This item resembles a stack of books and can be picked up much like many other robjects in vanilla SM64, except it cannot be thrown. Pick up the books and carry them over to Little Koopa, then place them down next to him (press Z to make Mario drop an item rather than throw it).
Oh my gosh, you really did it! Yipee!! I knew there was some good in this world! Here, to pay you back, take this shiny star of mine. You seem to need it more than me!
Mission 3: Scattered 8 Reds In The Meadow[]
This is the red coin mission for this course. All of the red coins can be found in the main area for this course; recommend reading the information regarding the 100 coin Star below before aiming for its collection during this mission.
The locations of each red coin are as follows:
- On the stone ledge to the left of Mario's starting point.
- On the grassy bank at the start of the river.
- On top of Little Koopa's house.
- On the far side of the pond next to Little Koopa's house.
- Under the wooden decking in the pond next to Little Koopa's house.
- On a small island above the smaller waterfall feeding into the river.
- Up the smaller waterfall feeding into the river, then up another smaller waterfall to a wide stream. Here, there is a small island with a tree and a red coin.
- Near the top of the mountain, on a wide grassy ledge above the stone archway on the path. Between a flower bed and a tree.
The Star will spawn on the grass plateau at the bottom of the waterfall.
Mission 4: Toppling Tower In The Sky[]
In this mission, we can see that Little Koopa has been successful in creating a cannon. It is already open and doesn't need any NPC to be spoken to. Mario must use the cannon to shoot towards the island in the sky that is precariously balanced on a spire, upon which a Star can be seen with atop a pile of crates.
Mission 5: World Behind The Waterfall[]
Enter the door behind the waterfall and carefully navigate the terrain until you reach the top of the largest crystal. Take extra care- this area is very dark and it is very easy to fall into the abyss below. It is also worth noting that dying in this sub-area will mess with the warp back into the level. When jumping back into the painting, Mario will instead be warped straight to the sub-area instead. This would ordinarily be fine, but for some reason, it will warp Mario to the wrong side of the entrance, meaning he is trapped in the loading areas until he exits the level again.
Mission 6: Tumbling Rocks In The Fall[]
Ascend the rocky ledges in the waterfall to the left of Mario's starting point, up on the grassy plateau. The Star is at the top of the waterfall next to the river feeding it; some of the collision can be a bit fiesty on the walls.
100 Coin Star[]
The main area has 90 coins, with a further 12 coins found in the sub-area behind the waterfall. Recommend that the player collects the coins in the sub-area first before collecting the main area's coins, given how easy it is to die in the sub-area.
There does not seem to be a blue coin switch. It may be possible to generate extra coins by playing on Act 1, and collecting the coins that Prince Bob-omb spawns after stomping around the mountaintop after each hit.

Further Dialogue[]
Talking to Little Koopa during Mission 1 will produce this dialogue:
Have you seen a sunset that looks as pretty as this one before? Such a lovely place to be.
Prince Bob-omb can be found on the pond's wooden decking during Mission 3. Talking to him will produce this dialogue:
Hello there! I still feel really bad about the fight earlier, I hope you can forgive me. Have you seen that little koopa anywhere? The one with the glasses... I came down here to apologise to him, I hope he is doing alright.
Talking to Little Koopa in Mission 4 will create this dialogue:
Message from the Koopa Krew to you: Please do not precisely throw a bomb at this fragile wall! Thanks.
While this doesn't make sense in this context, by playing through the unofficial compiled demo by soupnuts6061, we can encounter the same message in its correct context, which is in Legacy Fortress.

Daffodil Meadow is a secret course in the binary demo for Warped Worlds, and only has 2 Stars to collect, both of which are classified as Secret Stars. Dying in the level will warp the player to the main foyer of the hub, and collecting the Star will warp the player to Course ?. This version of Daffodil Meadow resembles Bob-omb Battlefield in vanilla SM64 much more closely than in the decomp demo, and is also home to the infamous White-Eyed Chain Chomp. Releasing the Chain Chomp plays the cutscene as usual, but there is no Star for it to guard anyway.
To access this course, enter the internal garden from the main foyer and climb one of the two trees at the back. Leap off at the highest point and wallkick off of one of the walls to land on the roof above the perpendicular wall, using the joystick to aim yourself towards it while in the air. The roofing can be walked on with relative ease. Walk along it until you're above the entrance, and enter the door there.
There are at least 134 coins in this level, although as it is a Secret Course, there is no 100 coin Star. If in the right time and place near the foot of the mountain, the player may hear the sound of a block breaking and releasing coins; they may even see the coins bouncing around. Not sure why that happens, to be honest.
Red Coin Star[]
This Star will not warp you out of the level. The locations of each red coin are as follows:
- In the lake to the left of the first ascending slope ahead of the starting point.
- Above a tree past the first ascending slope ahead of the starting point.
- In the middle of the flower patch adjacent to the pond.
- On the other side of the pond above a tree.
- On the white-eyed Chain Chomp's post.
- Above a tree at the back of the plateau past the white-eyed Chain Chomp.
- Under the stone archway next to the waterfall.
- Above a tree at the bottom of the mountain.
The Star will spawn to the right of Mario's starting point on a stone platform.
Piranha Plants' Power Star[]
Ascend the mountain and defeat the 5 Piranha Plants at the top. Collecting this Star has a high likelihood of warping you to the course "?" where the player will encounter the Error Message.
Dialogue[]
A Koopa NPC can be spoken to here near Mario's starting point, and they say the following to him:
"Mario! Thank the heavens, i couldn't be more happier to see you! ... What do you mean I "want to harm you"? Relax a bit, not everyone has it out for you! I am just a resident of this lovely meadow... Theres some ruckus going on with those plants up at the top of the big rock. Do you think you could invesitgate? You can use this shell to give you a speed boost. One last thing--be careful entering that big rock! It will take away your red coins!
