Depressing Lack of Creativity 64 is a ROM hack created by UsernamesAreHard74 and released in August 2020. This meme hack was designed to parody low quality hacks in the style of Red is Dead or Relax Your Life (which were both created by blackshadowdrybones), and also was inspired by them as such to be janky on purpose. Other than its awkward gameplay and difficulty, it manages to have a large total of 126 collectable stars.
This hack has a short cult following with two ROM hacks ripping its style and original title convention: Astounding Lack of Effort (2022) and Disgusting Lack of Effort 64 (2025).
