Forest Of Figments is the first course in the hack Mario Can't Remember. This level is only accessible from the first version of the overworld.
Guide[]
Obligatory Hiding Spot[]
Head over to the lake and navigate the stone platforms around the left side until you are able to reach the hidden area behind the waterfall. The Star is inside a box.
A Sinking Feeling[]
Requires the metal cap switch to be activated. Head to the lake and ascend the stone platforms around the right edge of the lake. Use the metal cap up these platforms to activate the switch underwater.
Shroom Shuffle Scuffle[]
Head into the white tent with a coin arrow outside, and do what the cool kids do- eat that shroom. Once you've done so, exit the tent and kill the 3 bullies ruining DJ Toad's party, then kill the Big Bully that spawns afterwards.
Red Hot Reds[]
All of the red coins are found in the lava version of this level, so you will need to use the same shroom warp as from the previous Act. Most of these red coins are in blue fire; most of them can be collected without burning Mario if the player is careful enough. The red coin Star spawns on a little island upstream on the lava river, near to the lava lake.

Shroom Addict[]
Requires the metal cap. Head into the tent and warp to the lava version of this level. Climb up the stone platforms round the right side of the lava lake and grab the metal cap. Use that to bounce across the lava lake, then bounce up the lava-falls until you can grab the Star on the higher platform. If you are struggling with the stone platforms, try using a triple jump to reach the first platform, and triple jump-dive to reach the second, and a triple jump to reach the third platform.
Into The Green[]
Requires the metal cap. Climb the mountain by jumping from tree to tree- this is easiest if done using the trees to the right of the shroom tent. When at the top, share a deep conversation with DJ Toad while the sun rises, then pick up a metal cap and stand in the blue fire. Upon warping away, Mario will wake up in a bare hospital room. Immediately upon spawning, the player will collect all 5 secrets and spawn a Power Star.
100 Coin Star[]
There are 85 coins in the first version of this course, including a box containing 10 coins near the end of the river. The lava version of this level has 124 coins, including a blue coin switch near the end of the river. The blue coins appear in stacks of 3 on the lava river, and add up to 45 coins total.
