Luigi and the Forest Ruins Rebooted is a ROM Hack made by Mariocrash & TheGael95. It is a complete overhaul of Luigi and the Forest Ruins 64, originally made by TheGael95, with all new level designs, stars and overworld.
It is shorter than the original, with 40 stars instead of 50, and uses a regular model of Mario in green clothes and a "L" on his hat, instead of the lanky Luigi model that VL-Tone offeren in his TT64 editor.
There are 40 stars, 6 in each of the 6 main levels, 3 in secret levels, and 1 in the ending sequence after beating Bowser, which ends the game when collected. There are no 100-coin stars in this game.
All three cap switches are located in the Quiz Switch Palace, in the Underground Corridor.

Trivia
- Since collecting the 40th star ends the game, the most stars possible to have in a save file is 39.
