Mariof Time is a major ROM hack created by don camilo and Mariocrash. This hack is based off of his Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-inspired ROM hack: "Master of Time", in which this hack is a entire port from the demo, hence the pun of the title.
It is an openworld-style hack, similar to Super Mario Fantasy 64 and SM64: Ocarina of Time, whose games merge together.
It contains 154 Stars and over 15 new levels, with similar elements from many Don Camilo hacks and Ocarina of Time. However, according to the creator, the hack is left as an unfinished demo as he's focused to develop Master of Time instead; though the end is unclear and finishes off with a death scene in a empty pit full of spikes like its OoT counterpart.
All the courses resemble and progress like in Ocarina of Time although there is a required need with the power-up caps to access in areas since the very first part of the game. Thereof the player is on its own to go wherever it wants after.
