Mario's Present Hunt is a ROM hack created by ScyHigh for the Christmas Competition, in which it placed 18th.
Gameplay[]
All of the Stars are Secrets Stars, with four out of five being textured to resemble presents. The other Secrets Star is in the secret course, and has each Secret marked with a Bup crate.
C1, C2, and C4 are all snowy mountain levels that share a resemblance with one another. C1 seems to have a number of collision issues with certain parts of the terrain, which can make it easy to die by falling out of the level. C14, which is intended to be the last level of the hack, is loosely modelled off of the reoccurring track in the Mario Kart franchise, Sherbert Land.
Attempting to exit a level from the pause menu will cause this hack to crash. Dying in a level will also cause a crash.
