Mario goes down some slides 64 is a ROM hack created by Jerrybubbles for the SimpleFlips' Slide Hack Competition (2024) ft. PirateSoftware, in which it placed 64th.
Gameplay[]
This hack contains a series of areas containing slides, with no Stars in them. While sliding, Mario's ability to jump has been disabled, meaning that much more precision is required to reach the end of each slide. Mario's lives counter has been disabled; if the player dies in a level, Mario is warped back to the beginning of that area.
Of the areas, the second one contains a slide in two parts; after entering the warp pipe at the end of the first section, Mario is warped to the start of a second slide. The second slide is located above the first slide, and ends with Mario landing in a hole in the side of a cliff, where he can then enter the warp pipe leading to the next area.
The penultimate slide course is actually a quiz. A Toad at the beginning of the course will state the questions and instruct Mario to input them all afterwards. Each question has an answer of either 1, 2, 3, or 4. Should the player select the wrong answer, Mario will immediately die to quicksand and be sent back to the starting area with the Toad.
The Toad will give the player six questions to answer, however, the player is required to put in seven answers.
