Mario vs. Ware Ware is a hack created by Team Cornersoft for the Crossover Themed Level Competition, in which it placed 1st. The individuals who collaborated together to create it included ArcticJaguar725, Mel, and PablosCorner. This hack relies heavily on an extensive variety of custom mechanics, textures, and animations, making it on of the most unique Super Mario 64 hacks to date.
Overview[]
This is a conceptual hack based off of Nintendo's WarioWare series. In it, Mario and Wario are competing with one another over who will get to eat Peach's cake. The competition is based off who can perform better at a series of zany tasks, similar to the tasks in the WarioWare games, but with a SM64 twist. The player starts with a set number of lives indicated by the dancing 1-UPs on the Overworld Screen. These cannot be replenished, and once the player runs out of lives, the game ends. The longer the game continues, the harder it gets; the difficulty is altered by the speed at which the game runs. At set intervals, the game will announce that it is speeding up
Challenge Stages[]
Overworld[]
This is the only non-challenge stage; it is returned to each time Mario completes or fails a challenge stage. From here, the player can see how many lives they have left, and take a few seconds to wipe their sweaty palms before they are dropped into the next challenge stage. This is also the stage in which the game will announce if it is speeding up to increase the difficulty.
Coins[]
Upon being dropped into this stage, a random coin formation appears. The player must collect a certain number of coins before the time runs out, or else they will lose a life. The choice of coin formation is influenced by the speed/difficulty the game is currently running at.
Wanted[]
This stage is based off of the Wanted minigame drom Super Mario 64 DS. It functions much the same way, but only 1 round is played each time the player enters the stage.
Bob-ombs[]

Sploosh KABOOM![]
This stage is based off of the Sploosh KABOOM! minigame from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. It functions much the same way, albiet with a strict time limit.
Avoid the Chuckya[]
TBA
Box Breaking[]
In this stage, the player is dropped into an area with a number of breakable boxes scattered around. To pass this stage, the player must break all of the boxes before the time runs out. The number of boxes is decided by the speed/difficulty the game is currently running at.
