Mushroom Mountains is the second course in Star Revenge 1.5: Star Takeover Redone. It can be accessed by a warp pipe located in Overworld 1 on the top of a hill. The level is the equivalent of Whomp's Fortress. The Wing Cap Tower is also located in this level.
There are 7 total stars to collect plus 3 stars in Wing Cap Tower. Most of the stars require scaling the mountain or finding secrets throughout the level. However, most of the stars are platforming oriented.
The course is a mountain world with lots of mushrooms. It also contains the wing cap stage that can be accessed by a warp pipe. Mario must do a lot of platforming to ascend up the mountains. Many of the mountains are scattered throughout the level. There are many bridges and mushrooms that Mario will need to traverse across to reach these mountains and tall mushrooms. There are 136 coins in the level.

Star 1: Path of the Black Shroom[]

To get the first star of this course, Mario must scale the mountain all the way up to the black shroom at the top. From spawn, Mario must head forward to the bridges in front of him. He must climb all four until he gets to land. He then must go forward and jump up the platforms engraved into the mountain. He then needs to go up the mushrooms and he will get to a small platform with a cannon and a house. Mario must shoot himself to the island across the way. He then must follow the path up the mountain until he gets to some mushrooms. Jump across the mushrooms and follow the dirt path until he gets to a wall with coins. Mario must wall jump up the sides of the wall and jump over a narrow cliff. There will be more mushrooms up ahead and yet again, Mario must jump across them. Once he gets across, triple jump onto the cliff and jump to the black shroom. There he will collect a star.
