Phenomena is a Major ROM hack featuring over 12 levels with 120 Stars. This hack is a collaboration project initially organized by ToasterKetchup and co-created with several people of the SM64 ROM hack Community who have contributed to making a level.
Just like Serene Fusion, it shares the same conceptual form of including original content, as well as level recreations of Super Mario 74 or from other hacks. Hence bearing a few individual stages of the original Project 74, it is branded as the second part.
Also, the main game is divided in two parts: the general levels for casual players, and the Kaizo levels for experienced players.
Levels[]
Name | Creator | Stars | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Abandoned Jungle Village | ssbm_aStaroth | 7 | This course is fully redesigned by StunningCactus in the latest update. |
Autumnal Architecture | Arthurtilly | This course is a recreation of the first course from SM64 The LentiLevels. The Wing Cap course is located inside this course. | |
Sandy City | SomeBro | ||
Swampy Spring | sm64pie | Based on the course of the same name, this course retakes in a Shining Stars style setting. | |
Lava Situation | Caasje | This course is fully redesigned by ToasterKetchup in the latest update. | |
System of a Rebuilt Town | Arthurtilly | Based on System of a Town, this course is fully remodeled with extra sections and new assets. | |
Ice Crystal Tower | Mushie64 | Based on the course of the same name, this course is remodeled into a modernized snow castle-like setting. | |
Glorious Summer Waterfall | Goop | This course is fully redesigned by Nobbie in the latest update, visualized into a tropical, Banjo-Kazooiesque feel. | |
Zeta Sector | Nobbie | ||
Olympian Summit | StunningCactus | This course makes a cross reference of the Olympic Games, including visual bits from Royal Legacy. | |
Flamedune Galaxy | aglab2 | Jumping onto gaps will blast Mario upwards in greater height, sending him inbetween the Lava and Sand dome; otherwise shall he idly blast off for too long will cost his life. | |
Experimental Generation | Iwer Sonsch | While this course's scale is super-sized, the navigation can be done in two options: warps represented by red coins which will take Mario to another side of the course, or, using boost hoops that sends Mario flying in high speed (can be done with the Wing Cap). | |
Zone of Happiness | Katx/Lily | The sole main course of the Kaizo part. It is a replica of a stage in Path of Eternity, and was later nerfed by aglab2 due to its confusion and obnoxious difficulty in earlier versions. Touching the glowing sparkles will send Mario flying in high forward speed. |
Secret Courses[]

---|---|---|---|
Wing Cap | Nobbie | 2 | |
Vanish Cap | 3 | ||
Metal Cap | Bubby64 | 6 | This course is a replica of the Metal Cap stage in Lost Universe 2. It is the hardest secret stage out of the entire hack. Incidentally, the switch was located inside this course until it was moved near the Lava Situation entrance in the latest update. |
Secret Sky Castle | Cavin856 | 1 | This course is a vertical diorama-style level layered into 5 floors. |
Secret Slides | sm64pie | 2 | This course is based off of the Touhou game series, notably the 16th installment: Hidden Star in Four Seasons. Coincidentally, the base slide layout is a nod to sm64pie's Super Slide 64. |
Corrupted Crusty Castle | TheReverserOfTime | 2 | This is the Bowser course unlockable at 70 Stars. This course's graphics were eventually enhanced in the latest update as per request to all the players. |
