Pink Gold Peach, also known as Pink Gold Peach 64, is a 2017 ROM hack created by Kaze Emanuar due to a Patreon request. The player controls the Mario Kart character Pink Gold Peach, who is constantly in a metal form and has a short float after jumps.
Royal Raceway[]
Royal Raceway is the only unique level in Pink Gold Peach. It's a reference to the Mario Kart 64 track with the same name.
Star 1: One Red Lap[]
One Red Lap is the red coin Star of the hack, and as such, the player must collect all 8 red coins that are spread around the level.
All of the coins can be found by driving along the track on the opposite side of where the player Starts.
Star 2: To the Top of the Castle[]
To the Top of the Castle requires the player to go to Princess Peach's castle (located near the end of the track) and then get on top. The player can get on-top by utilizing the Climb The Castle without 120 Stars glitch.
Star 3: Emeraldgreen Koopa[]
Emeraldgreen Koopa requires the player to race the character with the same name, who can be found directly next to the spawn point, to Princess Peach's castle. The player must reach the end before 20,2 seconds.
Star 4: Follow Your Trees[]
Follow Your Trees requires the player to go to the mountain in front of Princess Peach's castle and climb trees until they are in range of the Star.
Star 5: Silvergrey Thwomp[]
Silvergrey Thwomp requires the player to defeat the boss with the same name who can be found by turning around at the spawn point. The fight acts like a normal thwomp battle, but the fight takes place on grass which causes the player to have a lower jump.
Star 6: The 5 Rings[]
Eventually, by going around the track, the player will find a bridge leading into a jump. While in the air, the player must go through 5 coin rings for a Star to spawn on the side of the track.
Trivia[]
- Underneath the mountain housing the Follow Your Trees Star, an unused tree can be found.
- If the player comes close to a Piranha Plant, the music will stop. This is most likely due to the Piranha Plant's lullaby ending all overlapping tracks.
- Exiting Royal Raceway allows the player to access the inside of Princess Peach's castle and play regular Super Mario 64.
- However, exiting the castle or entering Cool Cool Mountain will crash the game.
