SM64 - Blast to the Past is a ROM hack made by Cryogeon and DLizard.
This hack is a compilation of custom levels from major ROM Hacks created in the past decade, but with the addition of new missions and texture themes. According to the creators, the purpose is not solely to pay tribute to the hacks, but to show by how much improvement and evolution has been made over the years of SM64 ROM hacking.

Trivia[]
- The Yellow Switch used to be an extra in Moonstone Switch Palace but got cut in the later versions for permanently causing glitches, such as adding 4 random stars and removing Mario's hat.
- There are 2 unused stage that were removed and replaced with others. That being Shining Stars 2 - Course 4 in Course 6 (Lavastone City) and King Boo's Revenge 1 - Eclipse of the Sun in Course 8 (Eclipse of the Frozen Sun)
