SM64 1 Life= 1 A Press is a gimmick hack of the original Super Mario 64. While it contains no new levels or Stars, your lives are replaced with A presses. Every time you press the A button it will go down by 1. If you hold the A button, you counter will go down by .5 instead (As popularized by pannenkoek2012's Watch for Rolling Rocks in .5 A Presses) until it is released. Pressing A while the counter is at 0 results in your A button doing nothing.
You can have a maximum of 100 A Presses (100.5 if you have the button held down before collecting #100)
The idea was inspired by a series of A press challenges/TAS by Pannenkoek2012
