Star Revenge 0: Galaxy of Origins is a ROM hack created by BroDute and released in 2020. It is a prequel to Star Revenge 1: Star Takeover, Star Revenge Redone and Star Revenge 1.5: Star Takeover Redone, making it the first game in the Star Revenge timeline.
This hack covers the events leading to Reverse Mario using the Scepter of Faith to switch places with Mario of the main universe.
Gameplay Changes[]
One of the most significant changes is to the availability of each course. After obtaining the first Star from BroDute and the key from Bowser, the player can access any of the 15 courses from the primary overworld, allowing the player to collect the 50 Stars required to complete the hack in any order they wish. Similarly, every Star in each course is obtainable, as there is only one Act for Mario to play in. However, the names of each Star can be viewed from the pause menu using the D-Pad.
As is the case with many of the creator's later hacks, fall damage has been disabled, and coin Stars have been altered- 100 coin Stars now require only 80, and red coin Stars now only require 6 out of the 8 red coins available. Furthermore, each main course now has 8 Stars in total, including the 80 coin Star.
Plot[]
It begins with Reverse Mario leaving his house and finding a note from his brother, Reverse Luigi, informing him that he's away saving Princess Daisy, yet again, and asking him to do some shopping while he's gone. Reverse Mario continues on, encountering a number of Bob-omb Buddies who seem to be believe that Mario has no reason to be out and about, on account of Reverse Luigi taking care of the kingdom. One of them asks Mario to get an autograph from Luigi for him, and scoffs at the idea of getting an autograph from Mario, which certainly takes some audacity.
After a different Bob-omb Buddy warns Reverse Mario about staying away from a strange individual further down the path. Presumably, they're referring to BroDute, who can be found by the sea at the dock:
Oh hey Mario? Another boring day of living in the shadow of your bro? Ah, I see... wanna help me out? So as you know, Timerock and I are keeping the Scepter of Faith safe, but for whatever reason Timerock just took the scepter and fled far away to another galaxy and now I'm sitting here and can't do stuff. Could you try and get the key from Bowser for this rocket? Here I'll give you a star for the door!
This allows Reverse Mario to enter the nearby warp pipe, which leads to Above the Kindom, which in turn contains a warp pipe leading to Bowser's Towers. Reverse Mario grabs Reverse Bowser by the tail and flings him into one of the nearby rockets

Areas[]
All of the areas have been grouped by which section of the overworld. Earth refers to areas that are reached via the first section of the overworld. This is where the player starts upon selecting a file, and where Mario lives. Tempora, Natura, Skydendra, Extemprum, Randosia, Drydunus, Beast Realm, The Whoa Zone, and Tempora are all sub-areas of the second and primary overworld, which is accessed via the rocket on Earth.
