Super Mario: Journey to Infinity is an upcoming major ROM hack created by Mariocrash and LouderMonkeyBoy. It is the direct sequel of Super Mario Apocalypse as it follows a couple key elements of the first game. It will feature over 130 stars and 30 worlds full of new experiences and custom mechanics. A demo hack was released in April Fools 2022 which includes a mash-up of Apocalypse stages called Simulated Apocalypse.
Plot[]
After restoring the world and defeating Bowser, Mario got sent back to another time period to prevent the disaster known as the Apocalypse. As a second attempt to save the world again, he's off to a new journey jumping across multiple time dimensions and find who is pulling the strings behind all of this.
