Super Mario 4 is a minor ROM hack with 6 levels and 30 Stars. It was originally named Project 74 as a collaboration created by Arthurtilly, featuring several level recreations from Super Mario 74. However, due to lack of motivation and missed opportunities, the project is ultimately scrapped until it got split up between other collabs that use the same concept.
Few years later, aglab2 revived the project by putting minor additions, and so, the last few courses left are put together in a playable hack and it is considered as a DLC for Serene Fusion & Phenomena.
For reference, the title of the hack is inspired by the end credits of Super Mario 74 Extreme Edition. The number "7" was intentionally missing as Nintendo programmed a limit of characters in the credits sequence.
