Super Mario 64 Land is a ROM hack made by Kaze Emanuar. The hack has a much more linear design, and more diversity with its level design and themes. The hack has 131 Stars across eight worlds; each world featuring 4 main levels and a boss. In every level Mario plays, he needs to get to the finish area and collect the Star there, but most of the levels have additional Stars to collect.
Plot[]
Princess Peach's birthday has arrived, and most of the Toads are at her castle eating cake, except for one guarding the Grand Ztar. Bowser barges into the chamber and scares the Toad away, claiming the Grand Ztar for himself. Now Mario must recover the Grand Ztar before Bowser can use it in his latest evil plan.
Scoring[]
Getting at least an A rank (17500 points) on every level in a world unlocks a Star in that world's Toad House. Getting the S rank (20000 points) in every level unlocks an additional Star (only after finishing Champion's Road).
Three factors go into the final score:
- Coins: 50 per coin
- Time Bonus: 64 for each second under 300
- Base score: for defeating enemies and collecting things

The Star is on top of and behind the giant mushroom. Jump from the nearby hedges onto the mushroom, and walk off the back to get it. This world's special power-up is the Super Leaf.
