Super Slide 64 is a ROM hack made by pieordie1/sm64pie. It contains 48 Stars over 17 courses.
Its main gimmick is that every course operates as a slider, similar to the slider segments in Super Mario 64. The objective is to collect Stars while sliding across the courses, and, as an option, completing them within a certain time.
On each slide, Mario can earn a Star by completing the slide in any given time. Mario can also earn an extra Star by succesfully collecting 3 Star Coins scattered throughout the slide, which will spawn a Star at the end of the slide. Collecting Stars in this hack does not warp Mario away from the level.
There is an optional timer mechanic the player can use to time themselves on the slide. To activate it, they need to touch the timer item at the start of each slide. The timer can be paused for a moment by touching any of the time-freezing clocks, which will pause the timer for 1, 2, or 3 seconds (indicated by the number on the time-freezing clock's face).
The player starts off in a grassy area leading to a house belonging to "Master S Yoshi". He is advised at multiple points by the Bob-omb Buddies milling about to avoid approaching the Master's magic book.
Upon entering Master S Yoshi's house, Mario finds that is has been overrun with Toads. The aforementioned book can be found laying open on a table in the middle of the room, and approaching it will activate a warp that transports Mario to a parallel universe seemingly run by a slide company. A lone Toad can be found nearby, who warns Mario that there is something very suspect going on with the slide company, and tells of customers who disappeared on the slides. He also reports that Master S Yoshi has been missing for months.
