Termina Invasion is the first SM64 ROM hack released by Reonu and features levels from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It was announced at F3 2020[1] and released as part of the 12th Simpleflips Hacking Competition (Zelda) on July 12, 2020.[2] It is notable for having a custom Link character model.
While this hack is not console compatible, the creator is currently working on a larger hack featuring more levels from Majora's Mask which will be.
Plot[]
"A world called "Termina" is taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. The worlds inside the paintings are being replaced with areas from this Termina world, and even the Mushroom Kingdom itself is Starting to change too. The good news is it's not too late to fix this mess. Well... actually, it is. But we can make it so that it isn't.
You see, we've located an artifact called the "Ocarina of Time". It's in a place called the "Stone Tower". It is said that this artifact can allow you to turn back time. If we could do that, we could find out who is behind this mess and defeat them before it's too late. But for that you need to play the "Song of Time" and the notes for that have been scatered around the world inside that painting over there." [3]
