The Secret Ancient Temple is a secret level in Super Mario 64 The Green Stars, hidden inside of Scorching Desert. The entrance is a warp zone, at the center of four pillars inside the east one room of the temple. The main feature of the level is a huge maze, filled with red coins. There are also two quicksand-filled rooms attached to the starting area.

Star 1: Wing Cap Trick[]
Pull up quickly after clearing the fence
For this star Mario must get the wing cap and use it to fly under the fence. The two things Mario must avoid are hitting the fence, and peaking too early after pulling up and dropping back down before Mario gets to the star.
Star 2: 8 Red Coins[]

The eight red coins are hidden in the maze, as shown on the map. After collecting all 8 red coins the star appears inside the maze at the location indicated.
