Victory Ascent is a kaizo ROM hack created by ShiN3 while collaborating with twelve other creators (see infobox). This hack is a part of the Victory (Series).

Plot[]
The skeeters are trying to start a revolution, since they want to demand object bank equality for all enemies so that all of them can become global objects. However, this would also make spinies global objects, which would allow ShiN3 to make Victory Fuck Dream Edition. For the sake of this universe's safety, please do NOT allow this revolution to succeed. Punching spinies for eternity is the last thing we want.
Gameplay[]
Certain functions that are normally controlled with the joystick are now controlled with the D-Pad. These functions include navigating the pause menu, selecting which a save option after collecting a Star, and navigating the Act select screens. Also, Mario is now able to kill Homing Amps by breakdancing!
